Old Gods of Appalachia
United States
Приєднався 29 жов 2019
In the mountains of central Appalachia, blood runs as deep as these hollers and just as dark. Since before our kind knew these hills, hearts of unknowable hunger and madness have slumbered beneath them. These are the darkest mountains in the world. How dare we think we can break the skin of a god and dig out its heart without bringing forth blood and darkness? Old Gods of Appalachia is a horror-anthology podcast set in the shadows of an Alternate Appalachia, a place where digging too deep into the mines was just the first mistake.

Episode 55 : The Matter of the Children
❤
❤ listening to this years after the fact and we are all still white knuckling life . Thank you for the respite of the oldest , most potent medicine ... a good story ❤
Aaaagggggg😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤ So good !
❤❤❤
❤ so good !
When will unknown roads be posted on Patreon?
This is brilliant. I’m so glad my friend recommended it
❤❤❤❤❤
Someone know what the outro music is called, I don't think it's "I cannot escape the Darkness".
Lizards being in the cw took me out 😂
Came from classic ghost stories I subscribed 😂
I just love that they have Jack and probably the person personalitywise closest to Jack locked up there together and therefore working together.😅
❤❤❤
I didn't expect to see them again like this 😅 but this series is so good, I can never expect something without being proven wrong shortly after😁
Anyone have any questions about what might have happened to the young witch Rachel????
It was +/- cleared up some episodes ago. One of the boys she escaped with after Greta died got her out.
The general consensus amongst Texans is Dallas is different. It wouldn't do to try and explain, you'll just have to make your own assessment.
what genre is the music, if i wanted to find more like it. never have i been to America, but the sound is beautiful
Y'all should come to the better part of Louisiana (North) get away from the hurricane washout
See you in Austin with my friends as a horror filled girls night!
Will there ever be a dvd of a live show?? 🤞🏼
Yay! 🎉
I'll see you in Austin!!!! I can't wait!❤
Be safe in Louisiana they might burn you at the stake.
Listening from Nelson County, Ky. I love this song so much.
That railroad man must be related to P.R. Deltoid... yes?
No.
The wait is gonna be torment! I have so many theories, and I can't wait to see if any of the ones I keep in my head are true or not!
Man, it's so good to hear the Underwoods again. They're seriously some of my fave characters in this podcast, and I felt so so lucky to be at one of the live shows during 2023 that featured them!!
where did you get the idea for the boy i would really like to read the folklore behind it
It’s not folklore. It’s our original creation. Contrary to some folks misunderstanding, our show isn’t retelling of folklore. While we incorporate dine elements of it, our show is original fiction.
i knew the boy was created by you guys my whole family is from coal country my mamaw and daddy are from jewell valley virgina i grew up being told stories similar to this i just wanted to know were you got the idea behind the consepted for the boys
Yas queen
I apologize so so much I somehow ended up on episode 50 when I’m trying to watch the new finale. I was like this sounds so much like last year. I’ve waited so long please God lol I love this series. You guys keep up the great work.❤
Why does this sound almost exactly like last year’s ending or am I missing something?
That's because it is last year's ending.
The season 4 finale is episode 70
Has anyone ever noticed the similarities between this song and "You'll never leave Harlan alive"? Or is it just me?
i keep hearing "the power of the breen" and i know thats not what hes saying but i keep imagining all these witches working with the star trek aliens lol
There are transcripts available on our website to clear up any misunderstandings.
@@OldGodsofAppalachia oh yes I did go and check but the picture in my mind of somehow the breen from Star Trek being involved in the spooky shit happening was just to funny not to share lol
I feel like a devil's Train by the lab rats would fit perfectly with old gods of Appalachia specifically the railroad man
I was given a tigers eye ring and nothing but messed up luck every time I wore it! It's in a protected box now. Won't nobody get this ring and the hex that comes with it!
Absolutely awesome, bravo for knocking it clean out of the park!
First time comin across this channel Really enjoyed listening New Subscriber
Hell yeah 🎉🎉🎉🎉 jack
Reapectfully, I think that monster from the Tiger's Eye is pretty hot
Absolutely living for Tom's commentary in the gallery 💀🤣 also I'm pretty sure this arc confirmed Jack as my favorite character in this series
I’m late to the party but on Apple podcast it just has which queen chapter 2, but there’s no 0.5 or chapter 1 is there a chapter 1?
All our episodes are available on Apple Podcasts. Not sure why you can't find them, but I'm afraid we can't provide tech support for apps. But 0.5 and 2 are EPISODE numbers for our podcast, which is Old Gods of Appalachia. The Witch Queen is not a separate series.
Love OGA! Great ending to season 4! Looking forward to the live tour in Houston this June💫💞
Awesome!!!! Thank you so much. I actually look forward to each and every episode!!!
On vacation with the wife and kids but not even Disney is gonna keep me from my favorite story ❤❤
1) y'all are mean!!! 2) if it's even possible it sounds like you had too much fun with that intro. Can't wait for season 5.
About two seconds in and I already gotta say AAAAAAAAAA I NEED MOOOOOOREEEEEEE ❤❤❤❤❤
